Details

There are so many things that veterinarians have to think of while performing surgery. Help them eliminate stress by suggesting the installation of a circuit alarm on their anesthesia machine. During assisted ventilation, the alarm will alert the vet if the predetermined pressure level is reached. For example, if they forget the evacuation valve in a closed position, the circuit alarm will alert them with a warning sound at the predetermined pressure. These low-pressure alarms are preset to a pressure of 15cm H2O. However, a small screw allows you to adjust the pressure if you wish to reset your warning level.

Circuit Alarm:

When manually ventilating a patient, determining airway pressure is not always obvious.  A patient pressure alarm added to your anesthesia machine helps reduce the risk of excessive pressure.

Assisted Ventilation
When assisted ventilation is necessary, it is difficult to determine the airway pressure. Adding a circuit alarm to your anesthesia machine can reduce the risk of an elevated pressure. The alarm will alert you if the pressure approaches a dangerous level.

Evacuation Valve
If you happen to forget to re-open the evacuation valve after ventilating your patient, the circuit alarm will warn you at the approach of a dangerous level.

Adjustment
The circuit alarm is adjustable, allowing you to set the pressure at a level which is comfortable for you.
